What does a Interior Designer do?
Interior designers create functional and aesthetic interior environments for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality clients. They manage space planning, materials specification, lighting design, furniture and fixture selection (FF&E), and documentation to Building Code of Australia (BCA) compliance standards. The role spans client consultation, concept development, design documentation, and construction administration, working alongside architects, builders, and trades.
